Makeup favorites for photo shoots
You booked the photo shoot, great! So now what. You must prep your look . From makeup to hair to accessories, and outfit, it is key to plan it all out.
I will be explaining a few of my high end favorites for the face: foundation, concealer, and contour, that you can't go wrong on. For those that don't know, I have the experience as a model, and also as a professional makeup artist. I freelanced and previously worked at the prestigious Mac Cosmetics as a lead makeup artist. So, I consider myself an expert in the beauty and entertainment industry.
First off, having a good base with foundation is important for a photo shoot. You will want to even out your skin tone, making it appear smooth, and healthy. I recommend Mac Cosmetics Studio Fix Fluid Foundation or Mac Cosmetics Studio Sculpt Foundation. The Studio Fix Fluid is a wonderful medium coverage. It will help control shine and stay matte. The Studio Sculpt provides a fuller coverage with a satin creamy finish, for those that have skin imperfections, such a blemish to conceal.
For concealer, I suggest Nars Cosmetics Radiant Creamy Concealer. It is beautiful finish that does not cake up under the eyes for concealing. I use the shade Vanilla.
For warming up my face and contouring, I really enjoy the Lys beauty No limits cream bronzer and contour stick in the shade harmony. I contour my nose, forehead, jawline, cheekbones, and eye crease. It is a super creamy and easy formula to use.
